Applications are invited from ICAR-NBAGR scientists for Dr.P.G.Nair Award-2023. The award will be decided on the basis of contribution made in research and overall contribution in the field of identification, evaluation, characterization, conservation and utilization of livestock and poultry genetic resources of the country. The award will be given on the basis of merit to a scientist for research work conducted during last 3 years (January, 2020 to December, 2022) at ICAR-NBAGR, Karnal preceding to the award year. The award carries a citation and cash prize of Rs.5,000/-.

The applicants should clearly mention the project period in their applications. The names of the Project Workers/Co-Workers should also be mentioned clearly alongwith the contribution made by the applicant for each project. One Page Citation should also be annexed along with the application.

Last date for the submission of completed applications alongwith evidence of publication/achievements, etc. is 31.07.2023. Applications (1 hard copy) should be addressed to the Director, ICAR-NBAGR, Karnal-132001 in a sealed and confidential envelope, also a soft copy of the application in PDF (duly signed) to be sent to director.nbagr@icar.gov.in .​
