ICAR-National Bureau of Animal Genetic Resources, Karnal (Haryana) is organizing Special Campaign 2.0 for the disposal of Pending Matters during 2 to 31 October, 2022. A month-long campaign starting with ‘Swachhata Abhiyaan’ has been launched on 2nd October, 2022 by the Govt. of India to commemorate Gandhi Jayanti.
NBAGR, Karnal, initiated ‘Swachhata Abhiyaan’ on 2nd of October with cleaning at National Highway-44 roadside footpath at the institute’s gate, for improve aesthetics of the office front. The permanent as well as contractual staff members participated in the Swachhta campaign with full zeal.
After cleanliness drive, Fit India Freedom Run was also organized in the NBAGR premises. Fit India Movement is a public movement conceptualized by the Government of India, with the aim of inspiring its citizens to be more physically active and fit. During run, Director of the Institute lead the team NBAGR and it inculcate the habit of walking and running in people in the quest for better health and fitness. He also urged to staff members for regular exercise, playing recreational sports and performing yoga to stay fit.
