2. Kindly see the pg 5-9 and 30-32 of document 1, attached herewith for the details about the documents required along with application and descriptor formats for the registration.

3. Kindly see the pg 2-9 of Document 1, attached herewith for the process. Further, the breed is registered with population of minimum of 1000 birds. Breed should have completed 10 generations.

4. As per approve guidelines, breed application and descriptor, both properly filled and completed in all aspects, are preliminarily examined at ICAR-National Bureau of Animal Genetic Resources, Karnal. Further, the breed application and descriptor are technically examined and breed physically verified along with the claims made by the applicants in application/descriptor by the team of Experts of ICAR (Scientists of NBAGR and Species specific institute). After verification and recommendation by the experts, the application is placed in front of Breed Registration Committee (BRC) for consideration. The BRC is final authority for approval (or non-approval) of registration of any breed under consideration. Based on approval, the breed is registered and appropriate Accession Number is provided to the breed by the NBAGR.

5. The applicant has to provide the information as per procedure for submission of proposal for breed registration (pg 5), application & checklist (pg 6-9) and descriptor (pg 30-32) of Document 1, attached herewith for the process.

6. Please find the details of registered breeds of various livestock (Buffalo, Cattle, Goat, Sheep, Horse/Pony, Camel, Pig, Donkey, Yak), poultry (Chicken, Duck, Geese) and dog species in India.
