ICAR-National Bureau of Animal Genetic Resources, Karnal (Haryana) is a premier institute dedicated to work with its mandate of 1) Identification, evaluation, characterization, conservation and utilization of livestock and poultry genetic resources of the country; and 2) coordination and capacity building in animal genetic resources management and policy issues. NBAGR invites nominations for BREED CONSERVATION AWARD for conserving and maintaining the registered Breeds of livestock and poultry. Breed conservation awards will be conferred on 23rd December (Kisan Diwas) under two categories (individual and institutional) and 3 awards in each categories (first, second and third) with one consolation award, coming to a total of 8 awards. The award will carry a Certificate/citation.

Applications in prescribed format and completed in all respects (including colored photographs) in duplicate should reach Director, ICAR-NBAGR, Karnal on or before 31.10.2024.
